Park and start from the Plough Inn, Hathersage S32 1BA.
The walk is approximately 4 ½ miles long. We will meander along the side of the river Derwent towards Grindleford and Padley before taking a path up leading eventually into the Rough and Coppice Woods. Where hopefully the Bluebells will be coming out and the odd Deer may be spotted. We will then return down to the river bank and return to the pub for a welle arned lunch.

There are some beautiful views across open pasture, no stiles but some short ascents, but it is not a challenging routethey will continue into the bluebell woods and return to the pub. There are no stiles and, although there are some short ascents, it is not a challenging route.

Can you let me know if you will be coming by Wednesday 5pm so I can confirm numbers with the pub. anneknights@hotmail.com
