We start at The Miners Arms, Carr Lane, Dronfield Woodhouse, S18 8XF.
We walk up Carr Lane and through a couple of housing estate roads before we exit towards Kitchen Wood.
From there towards Holmesfield and Cartledge Hall.
We cross Cartledge Lane and go cross country to Holmesfield Common.
We cross the road and go downhill and skirt Holmesfield Park Wood.
We then head for Birchin Lee Farm and back to the pub via the B6054.Distance is about 4.5 miles and has 2 stiles.
For the “short walkers” there are the usual cafes, garden centres & charity shops etc. If anyone is interested Jan has volunteered to drive wherever you want to go. Please let us know if you need a lift.The pub have asked to be advised of the numbers for lunch and have also asked for menu choices.
