Meet at the National Trust Car Park at Longshaw Estate Visitor Centre. (S11 7TZ) Parking is Free to National Trust members. You will need your membership card.We start from the car park and heading down towards Burbage Brook through the woods and by the stream, then walking various paths around the Longshaw Estate finishing back at the car park.I have been trying to book lunch at the Grouse for 12 people at our usual time of 1pm, but they have another big group booking at the same time. They would prefer it if we came earlier say about 12.30. The booking is provisional at this time and subject to another conversation with them when I can confirm numbers and the time.If the Grouse falls through then lunch will be at the Visitor Centre Cafe. There is plenty of space outside if it is busy. The weather looks OK for Friday at the moment.I will need numbers walking and/or lunching by Wednesday at 2pm to have the conversation with the pub. Also your thoughts on the 12.30 lunchtime.Anne Knights
